I don’t know about you, but lately I have become in love with Tauren Wells’ song Hills and Valleys! It speaks so much truth about how God is with us through ALL of our UPS and DOWNS!
Yesterday, I was listening to this song on replay when I REALLY opened my heart to the chorus which sings:
“On the mountains, I will bow my life
To the one who set me there
In the valley, I will lift my eyes to the one who sees me there
When I’m standing on the mountain aft, didn’t get there on my own
When I’m walking through the valley end, no I am not alone!”
Wow! Pretty powerful! Best of all, I had the opportunity to explain to my kids what the bible means by “hills and valleys.” They both shared with me a “hill” and a “valley.” It was such a special moment. We followed it by cranking up the song, ONE MORE TIME and praising GOD for our HILLS and VALLEYS.
This morning I was singing this out at the top of my lungs while I bible journaled this…
