Seek Him Always (Bible Journal)

Soulful Sunday

I'm part of Post A Day 2016

Psalm 105:4 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

The other day, I spoke about perfection. How, it’s human nature to seek perfection. However, God is the ONLY one who is perfect. He gave us this desire for perfection, so we would desire Him. You can read more about that in my post: I’m DONE! Why I’m Done Striving for Perfection and Instead, Casting My Burdens on Him (bible journal)

When we seek God, He will fulfill our deepest longings.

When I look around, I see so much beauty. Sunsets, the mountains, the crashing waves, rainbows…these are all things that God provided to remind us of His abiding presence.

God gave us beautyto remind us of His abiding presence

Sometimes, we can lose focus of source of this beauty. It’s easy to look past the amazing scenery and focus on our troubles or things that bring us down. It is important for us to unmask our eyes, see God’s wonders so that we can FEEL God’s LOVE. Once we fully, experience this love, we can be a beacon to others.

Reflect Gods glory and seek Him always!

seek him always

Where do YOU find God’s beauty? How do YOU seek Him? I’d love to hear from you!

Another awesome observation and another awesome quote for my files. It fits perfectly with my “Soul Spring Magic” story, so that’s the folder it’s going in. Thanks for being a conduit for the Spirit to speak into my life, into my ministry, and into my heart.

  2. Great post. Just yesterday, my bishop was talking about how when God calls us to follow Him, we shouldn’t say “Okay, but first…” To me, when we put God second to whatever we are doing; we aren’t seeking Him; because in the Bible it says to seek GOD first ( that means that everything else is secondary to God himself).
