Paused: Taking Time to Recharge

Hey friends!

Sorry I have been a little non-existent lately! I have family visiting us from the mainland.

I can’t wait to share with you soon some of what we have been doing while they are visiting. We definitely are keeping the adventurous lifestyle going.

We rented a beach house on the North Shore of the island of Oahu near the Bonzai Pipeline.

It has been a nice, Casual trip spent with my parents, nana, brother, sisters, hubby and our kiddos. We’ve done plenty of exploring some of my favorite places around the island. But, best of all, we have had a couple of days where we haven’t even left the beach house and just soaked up the beauty of the ocean. 

On my way to pick them up from the airport, I grabbed the book, “Beach House for Rent” to read. I wasn’t sure what it was about, but I figured the title made it appropriate for our week at the beach house. It was just perfect. I finished the entire book while we were there and even started another one. Talk about a perfectly, relaxing setting to read.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend as well. It’s our last family day. So, we are headed to the lagoon for a little more relaxation before they head home tonight.

Stay tuned this week for stories about our fun week together. I sincerely have missed blogging but I also needed this week of resting to refresh and recharge.
