Make it Monday:
I love to get creative with pallets. One of my favorite projects is this decoration I made with the help of my mom for my back yard.
We lived in a new construction neighborhood in Florida so there was an abundance of pallets sitting around. The builders gave me permission to use whatever I wanted. They would even drop stuff by my house for me sometimes! Remember the pallet playhouse I made? If you missed it, here is that post: Pallet Playhouse.
This pallet, I decided to paint blue. I wasn’t sure exactly what I was going to do with it at the time. But, I DID know it needed to be blue! ha
When my mom came to visit, we came up with the perfect use for it!
FLOWERS!
To achieve this look yourself, all you need are some old tin cans, metal cutters, hammer/mallet, sticks a pallet, paint and some screws!
1: Use the metal cutters to cut the tin cans into petals and use a hammer to flatten the can.
2: Paint each flower the color you want it to be.
3. Arrange the flowers to where you would like them on your pallet and attach them with wood screws.
4. Find branches in the shapes you need and use the flowers to hold them into place. I didn’t attach them with anything-just the flowers held them there.
That’s it! What a fun, simple project. It’s for sure going to be an eye-catching piece!
Give it a try! Get creative with your flowers and designs. The possibilities are endless!
With Aloha,
Lacy

Thank you! It was a fun project with my mom! It even made it across the ocean to Hawaii with us. So, now I display it proudly in my yard here! Something I can look at and think of her!
