Tasty Tuesday
Okay, y’all! I’m pretty excited to share this recipe with you today!
If you’re like me, you find the whole “Pumpkin Spice” everything so hard to ignore. It’s like the second it’s available, everyone goes mad crazy for it! (myself included!)
However, what I don’t love are the calories packed into that oh so popular Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte!
So, today I’m going to share with you what helps me curve that craving but yet it’s actually healthy! Best of all, you don’t need to be athletic to enjoy this. You only need a desire and interest to make healthy eating choices.
A Pumpkin Spice Protein Drink!
If you are new to using protein powder, or even a protein drink regular looking for an alternative to the regular fruit protein drinks, this is for you!

Pumpkin Spice Protein Drink
Ingredients:
- 1c water or 1c almond milk
- 1 scoop of Vanilla protein powder (any brand-I like Shakeology or Arbonne)
- 1/2c pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling-it will contain more sugars. You just want plain ole pumpkin puree)
- 1tsp maple syrup
- 1tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ice cubes
Instructions:
- place everything in the blender and blend until the consistency you prefer
It’s pretty simple!
TIP: I like to store the remaining pumpkin puree in a mason jar in my refrigerator for the next serving! It keeps it nice and fresh!
ENJOY!
With Aloha,
Lacy

Yay! I’m so glad you tried it! I’m tempted to try it with agave nectar some time.
I like to make different flavors like this with the vanilla protein. It changes things up and makes the protein drink fun and different 💪
